With you entirely on the fear that we could see the display of Friday night forgotten, by being outplayed at times by Team Toblerone. Wasn't unimpressed at all by Cahill getting his chance on Friday. Even more so, I hope Jags carries on showing that his club form can be translated onto the national ...

If true, I'm genuinely disappointed in him. The Mrs would be a fool if she didn't absolutely clean him out in a settlement.
So much of me hopes it's not true though, mostly for the kid's sake. I'm not holding out much hope, sadly.

Experienced poster.

Old Timer's a bit harsh.. :lol

And during the mid eighties, you weren't even the best team in Liverpool - never mind Europe. :)

Nice touch. :lol

Rooney is such a victim of expectations. Makes a simple mistake on the touchline and voila - he's being booed to f**k.

That's the way to instil the desire to return to form eh?

Spurs are better placed now to threaten Liverpool's membership of the "Big Four" than at any time in the last 20 years though, you have to accept that. I know I'm beginning to believe it, and not because of the scharden freude towards the neighbours.

That's a hell of a dilemma Prof, I can't imagine how badly this must have felt for everyone involved (not to mention the poor injured player of course). It's so easy to spew venom and jump on our trusty steed the moral high horse, when we see scything tackles on TV or at matches at larger grounds wh...

But it was engineered to happen on the last day. As I've said, I actually don't have a grudge about that one - it worked out best for everyone.

You can understand the "he we go again" thoughts that the rumours inspred though surely.

When I saw the reports, first thing I thought was "Rodwell. They've gone and given in to United again."

Think it was only ever a moneyspinner for SkyBet though.

I had a dinner at a table with the Neville parents once, and Neville nicked the last bread roll. The younger brother hadn't signed for us just yet (he did a few weeks later), so naturally I thought "cheeky f***er".

etc etc etc

Very, very doubtful. Bingo loves it at Everton, loves Moyesey as a manager, and has just signed a 5 year deal. Still, you never know if the lure of cash would be too much for Bluerinse Bill to avoid. We have apparently just taken out another 19m loan to cover stuff. Bet Carrick is delighted at gossi...

Worst start since '99 under Walter Smith. Absolute garbage. It really doesn't matter if you territorially dominate for pretty much the whole match, if the second of the only two saves of note the opposition goalkeeper has to make is in the 94th f***ing minute. Fellaini in particular was pathetic at ...

The reports said that Everton had gone as far as gaining a work permit for him, but the deal never went through. Could have only ever been the club trying to keep the fans on side by making empty gestures perhaps, but it was exciting as a prospect.

I still wish we could have done better to secure Ever Banega last year. Even in a very dodgy Valencia team, he always impresses me. Just watching them stumble against Malaga right now, and all I can think is "f**k, he would be fantastic for us". Little blighter'll sign for the dark side no...
