arry has no experience whatsoever of matches beyond the british isles. sure, he has introduced spurs to champions league football, but this is only recent. i prefer a manager with a range of experiences. capello, sven, and hoddle all had this, and didnt do too bad in comparison to, say mcclaren.

defoe out for six, dawson out for four.

england love giving spurs the cricket treatment dont they.

and we all know arry's thoughts on internationals. the poor geeza must be livid right now.

they still have adequate cover i say, though i dont think keano will score much.

seriously, the swiss are good. they shouldnt be underestimated and i dont deem them a small team because they demonstrated they can beat the best and this includes spain of all teams. plus england tend not to be so good on the road as opposed to wembley, their comfort zone. i will not be surprised i...

england could have won 10-0 yesterday, i would still not take them seriously anymore..not until they perform brilliantly in the finals of a tournament. friendlies and these qualifiers against little teams mean nothing. and i'm not a fan of the euros anyway, only the world cup. it would be nice if ca...

this will probably insult jaxe, but..

england are like arsenal.

they can easily beat the smaller teams, but when it comes to the true big guns they are found wanting. they are an inbetweener, stuck drifting between the two!

happy with the defoe hat-trick.

i never rated the euros anyway so this time my only hope is that the liverpool players stay fit and injury free, while the rest of our rivals in the premiership dont :p and for jaxe, that doubly includes arsenal :D

Spurs are better placed now to threaten Liverpool's membership of the "Big Four" than at any time in the last 20 years though, you have to accept that. I know I'm beginning to believe it, and not because of the scharden freude towards the neighbours. Tbh I still see City as a bigger threa...
