Bolton into a 2nil lead away to Arsenal Tomas Rosicky pull a goal back just before halftime. Bolton played quite well Coyle seems to have given them a little extra already Not looking forward to going to the Reebok next week. Seeinghow Bolton didsecond half at the weekend and how they've started here.

Been over the "JUDAS" bollocks already, you wont hear me calling him that. Ourloss is Boltons gain I will feel ashamed to be sitting in with the Burnley fans screaming judas at him next week after all the hard work he putin.

Thank f**k for that!!! Not sure we deserved to be 2-0 down but we started slow gave away a bad goal then a bad pen and we were in the sh*t. Goal before half time was massive.
Few points..... Denilson cannot hold. I'll be shouting loudly for Tunisia tomorrow night, to knock Cameroon out of the ACON so that we can get Song back fully refreshed before the Villa and United games next week. But at Stoke in Sunday I'd pick the kid. I know it's a tough place to go, but at least Eastmond actually holds. Denilson has no f**king discipline and the tackle to concede the pen was stupid.
Oh and Eduardo? Nope not tonight son. Poor again. Can we have a striker please Mr Wenger??

2nil down to some god awful defending. Clichy, instead of clearing the ball up the pitch or out of play lobs it into our penalty area and they score. Denilson then chops down the asian player so fkn clumsily. I thought at 2nil down we didn't look championship material at all, this game being of such importance in that. Bolton showed a lot at home at the weekend and looked up for it tonight, we just about squeezed through at the Reebok as well with regards to opening them up. I thought.. if we want to win the championship, this is now the time to come back from 2nil down and win this game. The fans got behind them, I have to say.. I was cursing them like mad at the time.. but they got their act together, got their game going and in the end we could have won it by 6 or 7. Arshavin had a guilt-edged chance at the end to make it 5 which would have put us top, I think..
Anyway.. credit where due. We turned it around in a classy way. Rosicky's input got it rolling but the boy Fabregas is something else... once you think he's fulfilled his potential he showed a lot of years back at this level, he comes out and adds and adds to his game. He's so good. To miss Nasri, van Persie and some others and still play with such quality is great.
Who says we need a striker when you look at our defending and compare it to our attacking?

I think the two problems defensively are left back (Gibbs is our best one) and defensive midfield when Song is out. The two centre halves did pretty well again dealing with Davies.
I want a new striker because if I have to watch Eduardo slowing any more quick passing moves down on the edge of our opponents box by dithering on the ball I'll scream.......

Both managers just been on sky sports talking about the Gallas tackle , Owen Coyle well pissed off and talking about fair play and unsporting play. Wenger talking about other tackles that went on over the two games not seen the tackle myself

Was a foul. But the referee didn't give it, and the Bolton right back should have been sent off tonight for 3 or 4 horrible tackles and we should have had 3 penalties over the two games. The better side won. Twice. EDIT: Oh.... forgot to say - we are top of the league..... (well until the weekend we are )

Was it a sending off though like Coyle is suggesting?

Ermm..... it was a definite booking, was late - but there was no malice in it, it was more clumsy, not a red for me, but the case is certainly arguable. Have to say, in high speed at first look I thought he'd got the ball, the replay is obvious, but the ref was the same side of the incident as the TV camera.
Noticed Coyle forgot to mention his goalkeeper wiping out Cesc in the box again?

It was pretty nasty, I think it should've been red.
I'm yet to see the game apart from the tackle but massive win after we were 2-0 down, even if I believe we should've been down to 10.

It was a red card for me, clumsy and late yes, malicious no, but it was a poor tackle. Mrs 23CG had taped the highlights so she can watch them - I've watched it back a couple of times and a Bolton player clearly walks across the view of the referee. The touchjudge however has no excuse.

Had that been Davies on Gallas and Taylor going on to score, Wenger would have demanded the game be replayed.

Imagine if had been Martin Taylor doing the tackling, he got absolutely crucified for a similar tackle, no malicious intent but an awful tackle, the worse thing for me bearing in mind the injury Eduardo had, was Wengers attitude in the post match interview, no condemnation of the tackle, just the usual I havent seen it yet line, although he had seen all the bad tackles them nasty northern Bolton boys had made. As for the kicking the ball out, I do agree with him, thats the refs job unless it is an head injury, although he argued that the Arsenal players didnt know there was a player down as the ball was in front of the foul, total rubbish, Gallas was the one who started the move, at least five yards further up the field than the player lying on the floor because of his tackle. Brilliant, brilliant comeback by Arsenal though.

Can see Coyle's magic working already at Bolton, 2-0 up & end up blowing the game seen that somewhere before.

Yea.... all do the Wenger bashing..... 'cos the good old fashioned British manager has been wronged. Total b*ll*cks. Wenger would have been unhappy had the tackle been on one of his players, but when has he ever asked for a game to be replayed? In fact he is the only manager in English football HISTORY to offer a replay when his team have won unfairly.
Mr Wiley saw it, he didn't give a foul, he was wrong. Should it have been a red card? Certainly a "dark yellow" one, still not sure myself that it's a red, there was a worse tackle by the right back on Denilson in the first half.
Loving the double standards. When Kevin Davies tackled Clichy's neck 2 years ago it was "a mans game" now Gallas injures the boys ankle and Arsenal are "cheats".
The usual xenophobic b*ll*cks.

The usual xenophobic b*ll*cks. Hang on there big lad, who's bashing the Arsenal manager, not me thats for sure. I thought his comeback to Coyles claims was classic. Tbf aswell i agree with Wenger about the Bolton players going in on his players mainly in the first game because i watched all of that from start to finish Still think Gallas should have been shown a red card though, not saying he intended to do it but it was a bad enough tackle to warrant a red
