you calling the ba***rds 'blackburn' now? anyway, i'm abit uneasy about the derby match tommorrow..got this horrible feeling that everton will get the win, they're in very good form at the moment whereas liverpool are still abit delicate in comparison. hope to hell i'm wrong though.

Bloody ESPN means I get home at about 10 tonight and also miss the Merseyside Derby Can't see us winning, the only way we will get a point is if Gomes pulls off his heroics again, Bassong is getting sloppier as the weeks go on, Ledley and Woody are finishing their careers and Dawson has 85mins of brilliant defending with that 5min sloppy period which fucks us over! Need to get Defoe running at Dunne and we cannot just f**king hoof it to Crouch for him to 20% of the time win the header and head it to Villa players and 80% of the time see Collins dominate him in the air! Not looking forward to seeing the long ball counter attacking football against us defeating us today.

Off to the pub to watch Big United hopefully thump Portsmouth.
Hope the Gooners give Chelsea a 'battering' tomorrow.
Wins for Burnley, Hull, Everton and Spurs please.
Not fussed about the rest.

Could have been 3 sending offs in the first half alone Carragher for Liverpool along with the Greek and the Little South African for Everton. Seen reds given for all them tackles before. Oh bag of shit game too see more football played in the sunday pub league. Cahill should have put Everton ahead with that header just before halftime too.

Well the Bluenoses came for a war of attition and bloody got one. Two massive decisions in their favour first half, Pienaar had to go bit didn't and I thought that mop haired freak's over the ball tackle on Kyriagos was worse than what the Greek was sent off for.
Terrific battling performance from then on in an apart from the Cahill header they were not a threat. Really impressed with our guts and determination and a well deserved win for the ten men.

Fellaini should have gone with Kyrgiakos also. The ref had no control over the game at all. Freekicks were taken miles from where they were awarded by particularly by Everton. Players making the decisions for the ref particularly Ngog diving on the ball to catch it. Pienaar sent off an hour late but he got their in the end. We won which was the main thing and the deserved outcome when you consider how poor Everton were second half. The defending from the corner which we scored from was dreadful. Having won this game the sending off of Kyriakos has done us a favour imo as he'll be unavailable against Arsenal as I must admit I was surprised he played ahead of Skrtel today.

We should have had a pen first half as well Baines had his whole arm wrapped round Kuyt's arm I think it was. Stacki you mention Carra should have been sent off, what for? He got the yellow first half but that's never a red.

I actually think Kyriagos has been very good of late Paul, done a better job than JC was at centre back. Though Arsenal may not be the ideal game for him I agree!

Yeh he has been very good for us in our run of 17 points from 21, which may have tempted Rafa to stick with him against Arsenal. That's been taken out of his hands now though which is a blessing disguise.

Did anyone else notice all of the bad feeling towards pienaar. He should of been sent off early on and all game i thought the liverpool players were targeting him with the "committed tackles." JC's early yellow card was against Pienaar, Gerrard's strange booking was a tackle on pienaar which he went into with a lot more force than was required. I also noticed one occassion where kuyt played a short ball to Mascherano, just to line up a tackle against pienaar.
Pienaar got what he derserved at the end though, from a very soft yellow which Gerrard "earnt." Also think Fellani should face the same treatment from the FA to that of Mr Ferdinand for his blatant kick on Kuyt.
Rafa has many critics, but you cant say anything about the spirit of the team.

Also think Fellani should face the same treatment from the FA to that of Mr Ferdinand for his blatant kick on Kuyt. How could I forget to mention that. Game stopped Kuyt on the floor with the ball near his face, no excuse for that imo half kicked the ball half Kuyt's face the red mark to the left of his nose was visable after the incident for the rest of the game. Even though Kuyt did roll around on the floor a bit you have to give him credit for not starting a full scale brawl. If Gerrard or Cahill got one in the face it would have been a different story. Gray was priceless for Sky again, describing Carra's first minute tackle where he won the ball with 100% commitment as leading with the arm. He got a bit Pienaar after the ball but he was just letting him no it was a derby game and he was there as you expect in these games. It was by no means leading with the arm. Great stuff that the Tango mans boys beat City as well. There 3 behind us with two games in hand and we play them after our trip to the Gooners. Time to sack Mancini, he's lost more than Hughes this season

Seen red cards gien penty of times for the tackle he put in just seconds after the Everton lad should have walked.

Not seen a Premier League game that dirty in a long while.

3 points for Burnley at long last and pulls us out of the relegation zone 2-1 against Westham. got lucky at times they hit the post twice had a goal ruled out and Leon Cort made a great goal line clearance from the ex ba***rds striker. Upson miss judged the flight of the ball to let Nugent in and lob Robert Green and the Danny Fox free kick was quality. Fox got motm i didnt agree with that myself give it for the goal alone two away games on the trot now away to Fulham midweek and Aston Villa next weekend, wont expect anything from them. Next home game Portsmouth, 3 points from that please but wont be taking it for granted. Nothing is ever easy with Burnley. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Just seen the score from the Man Utd game 5-0 and 3 OG that has to be some sort of record OH LOL at Man City and ba***rds getting beat. Big Sam moaning because Stoke bullied his poor little lambs

City lose and Spurs and Villa draw. Couldn't have gone any better. Big Sam has some nerve to be moaning about anybody's playing style, even if it Stoke.

The team that put the most commitment in and worked hardest for a result won the game in the derby. No arguments there.
Fellaini very fortunate not to go along with the Greek donkey, if he hadn't have been crocked by the sickening two-footer himself, then perhaps he would have.
Ugly, flair-free game throughout. Moyesy says we didn't deserve to lose but also didn't deserve to win. I agree more with the second half of that statement.
Special mention though once again though to that walking disgrace to football, Stevie studs-up. The point can be well-made that Pienaar was very, very fortunate to be on the pitch anyway - but to use that as ANY excuse to try and explain away the dirty, soles-of-the-boot jump into him that SG did is one of the stupidest arguments that can be made by any fan. Add to that the antics when body-blocked by a clearly rattled Pienaar (rattled due to - as mentioned above - the entire game long tactic of clogging our pivotal midfielders out of the game), well...I shouldn't really have to point it out. I will anyway though: he falls to the floor holding his head in both hands as if he's been punched in the back of the head.
No stevie, it's you that punches people in the back of the head, after they've been clocked by your "people" in pubs...like the cowardly sh**house you are.
He's big and he's hard apparently, or so the song goes. No, he's an embarassment.
Catch it later on motd if you haven't seen it already, please don't just take my biased opinion for it.
Maybe Rafa is finally getting the hang of the domestic game after 5 years and many many millions. He's certainly learnt how to bully a game, as Galactico (inadvertently?) admitted as much with his first post above. The tone was set by Carra. Call it "rumbunctious", call it "making your mark early in the game"...call it what you want. I call it Liverpool throwing the first ugly dig in the game, and setting the board for what ensued. Before the very valid point is made that it's something efc have done on many occasions - let it be recognised as just as valid that our neighbours proved that they are no side of "total" footballers that were somehow dragged down to some level beneath them. No, they are at least as dirty as any other team you could name.
