Yep, Hollis was the man for a while wasn't he? Just reading that their downfall was through a dispute with EMI, with legal action and counter-suing before the band left for Polydor to record their final album, Laughing Stock.

The thing is with musicians, if you've run out of ideas or you don't want to do it anymore then the career has run it's course hasn't it? I'd rather remember Talk Talk for what they released in happier times than to come back and feck it all up.

but i just think he probably could have so much more in the tank, and not to even try is such a shame

lol got offered a ticket to them playing west hams ground yesterday but was too short notice to get the day off. tbh Ive never been massively into them but worth it to see sweet child and paradise city. thick end of 100 a ticket, mind

Great live band, on record, not so much. I paid 6,500 baht for my ticket, at today's post Brexit vote exchange rate that's 145 of your English pounds. I did py for the mosh pit though, seats at the back were a third of that price..

I paid just under 200 quid for the Metallica tickets. Singapore has to be one of the most expensive venues in the world I reckon. I wouldn't have thought about buying a ticket in the UK at that price but being here, starved of watching live music, it's a price you have to pay..
